Cullum & Brown of Wichita, founded in 1975, is a value added distributor of industrial diesel and gasoline engines. In business in Wichita for 33 years, Cullum & Brown is well known throughout its trade area. Given the many uses of industrial engines, Cullum & Brown serves a large, diversified and well established customer base, from our distributor direct OEM business through the service dealer organization.
On the diesel side of our business Cullum & Brown represents the Yanmar product line up. The Yanmar product has a lineup of air cooled diesels from 4 to 10 hp and liquid cooled engines from 15 to 90 hp. Our representation of Yanmar covers Kansas, Missouri, and Southern Illinois. On the gasoline spark ignited side of our business we represent Wisconsin and Continental. The Wisconsin engine group has air cooled engines up to 65 hp and the Continental engine group has liquid cooled up to 75 hp. Our representation of the Wisconsin / Continental organization covers Kansas, Oklahoma and Western Arkansas.
Cullum & Brown focuses on making the product available in the right place and the right time that is acceptable to our customers. We work with OEM’s in the development of new projects and provide proto type engines during the development and testing phases on these projects. We stay abreast of each set of new EPA regulations on engine emissions and help our customers with maintaining production that meets or exceeds the regulations.
