for industrial process or utility fluid heating needs around the world.

Direct Steam Injection heats fluids or viscous slurries wherever the fluid can be mixed with steam and often replaces heat exchangers or sparging systems. They hold several patents on the proprietary internal working parts of their heating valve, providing benefits unmatched by other industrial heating methods. Hydro-Thermal’s DSI technology, the Hydroheater®, has been transforming energy for a sustainable bottom line impact since the 1920’s.

The Hydroheater is an exclusively designed direct contactsteam injection heater that may look like any 3-way valve but is a unique industrial heating device. The patented internal parts precisely mix metered amounts of steam directly with a liquid or slurry, providing instantaneous transfer of heat from steam to the liquid. Steam immediately condenses, eliminating hammer and vibration and causes a trubulent mixing action that self-cleans the unit.
