Our History
Dating back to 1886, Cullum & Brown started as a small family-owned water well drilling business serving the Kansas City area. We later expanded into the company you know now, supplying air compressors, blowers, and pumps to those in our surrounding area! We have a rich history of helping our customers find the right equipment they need for their manufacturing businesses and provide them with the services to keep that equipment up and running. We then moved farther into the midwest and set up shop in Springfield, Missouri in addition to our Kansas City location. Cullum & Brown now services 59 counties in Missouri and 24 counties in Kansas and we look forward to working with more people throughout the midwest in the coming years.
Today, we are your ultimate source for service, sales, and rentals of compressors, blowers, vacuum, and pumps serving Missouri and Kansas with 37 employees (and counting!). From installation to world-class service, our goal is to keep you up & running so you never have to worry about unnecessary downtime for your business.

Our family at Cullum & Brown has been growing continuously over the years. Currently, we have 37 total employees and our average employee’s experience in the manufacturing industry is 25 plus years! Clearly, it’s not just our company that has the history to back up our expertise.

Our Locations
Cullum & Brown had our original locations in Kansas City, Missouri. Our current operations are in Kansas City, Missouri, just north of the river near Chicken and Pickle! Our other location in Springfield, Missouri is a great extension of our services and allows us to reach areas in southern Missouri.
Our Services
We do it all, we repair your equipment, provide rentals, offer equipment leasing programs, as well as sales of new & pre-owned units, and have replacement parts for all manufacturers that our team is ready to install whenever you need.
Not only do we do it all, but we’re also able to get to you whenever you need us most. Cullum & Brown offers a 24/7 emergency customer service for not only the brands we sell, but all makes and models which include but are not limited to Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, Sullair, Kaeser, Tuthill, and Roots blowers. That goes for our other services as well, if you are looking to update an existing piece of equipment in your facility, our team of expert technicians and sales representatives take an extensive inventory of your current systems and technology stored in your compressor rooms.
Then, our teams take that information internally to review and collect all necessary information based on that specific type of equipment’s owner manuals and manufacturer recommendations. We learn everything about the compressors you use so you can trust our service technicians wholly when they come to repair and provide routine maintenance on your equipment. Our services are designed for you.
