Balance Maintenance Extends Machine Life

In conjunction with vibration analysis, Cullum & Brown provides field balancing services as part of your preventative maintenance program.

If an issue is uncovered during your equipment’s vibration analysis, we can correct it onsite. We work with you to ensure limited interruptions to your workday and to minimize any needed downtime. Other benefits include a reduction in additional maintenance costs and an increase in your equipment’s production output and life span.

How it Works

Our team at Cullum & Brown uses your custom reporting and analysis to pinpoint the equipment’s issues. We then follow a 4-step process to assess and correct balance issues affecting your equipment’s performance.

We gather a baseline reading to confirm imbalance is the root cause of the equipment’s vibration. We then use weight to pinpoint the imbalance. Weight is permanently added to fix the imbalance and can be adjusted as needed going forward.

We will work with you to plan and conduct equipment balancing at a time that is least disruptive to your operations. Many factors affect the time required to complete this work and these will be discussed and reviewed in detail with you prior to starting.
